About the Club
"The Club took its name from the time of the train from Corstorphine to Waverley which carried the original 12 members to work each morning." [Excerpt from: "The Corstorphine 8.30 Golf Club", A History by Jack Mills]
We are a gentlemen’s club of approximately 50 members.
Each year we hold about ten official outings at various courses within 40 miles of Edinburgh.
We have an annual Match and a separate joint outing with the Royal Scots Golf Club, participate in the Sievewright Trophy for teams from non-course-owning clubs, and run a Hole-and-Hole event.
In November or December we have our AGM and Annual Dinner.
